Chapter 4

I turned toward him and sat up. “What?s wrong?” I asked, my voice full of alarm.
“Well, I didn?t know how hurt you had been, and when Ms. Wells asked exactly where you had been, I told her you had been in the hospital, and she asked if it was severe, and I told her I wasn?t certain, so then she said you had been going to obtain the portion,” I could feel my face fill with delight, but he finished with, “but she said now she?d need to give it to Alicia.” Now my face fell, along with my shoulders. He crossed the room and hugged me.

“I?m sorry.” He said softly.
“I?m sorry,” I said. He pulled back and looked at me having a confused expression.
“Why?”
“Because you have to kiss Alicia.” I stated. He laughed.
“I know, but possibly it won?t be bad.” he shrugged. I rolled my eyes.
“You are going to kiss my arch enemy.” I said, slowly.

Aaron?s POV
“So you want to kiss me? That?s why you don?t want Alicia to have the portion, so you’ll be able to kiss me.” I said, realizing her response prior to it left her mouth. Her mouth dropped open and she closed it rapidly and laughed.
“Don?t be stupid, I have a boyfriend.” she stated.
“So in the event you didn?t, you would need to kiss me.” I said, smirking, teasing. Once more her mouth dropped open.
“I don?t want to kiss you, but it?s much better than Alicia, correct? I just feel poor for you. I don?t like you, and you know it.” she answered. I rolled my eyes and gave up having a shrug.

“I know, I was just kidding. I don?t wish to kiss you, that?d be awkward.” I lied.
“So you?re saying you wouldn?t desire to kiss me? Thanks a great deal.” she stated, madish. I threw my hands up within the air.
“Nobody can say the best factor for you. I much better leave ahead of I get in much more trouble.” I stated, not actually mad.
“Ok, if you would like, I desire to go to bed soon anyway.” she stated. I looked at her alarm clock. It was only three:30, but I knew she had a rough day nowadays, so I nodded.
“Ok, night.” I hugged her once much more ahead of leaving. I walked out her door and down her driveway before my phone beeped. I looked at it, it was a work reminder, and I had to be there in about a half an hour. I put it away and walked back to my house. I put on my Burger King uniform and walked to function.

“Hey,” my friend Cole stated as I walked in. I jumped to the other side of the counter and started helping somebody. Other a couple people, it was dead slow. I was bored. Lastly it was 8:00, and I was allowed to leave.
I walked back house within the dark. I walked past just a little space in between two buildings. I heard a couple voices that pricked my curiosity. I recognized the guy?s voice, but not the girl?s. I peered down into it. A light highlighted their faces. There was a girl inside the dress up against the side of the brick creating. He was kissing. I looked at his face a lot more. It was Zack.

Anger coursed by way of me. They were kissing, he was kissing an individual, not Alli. I watched them kissing in silence for a minute, and then he pulled away from her face.
“Come to my house. My parents aren?t house. You know you need to.” he said. She smiled.
“Ok, let me make up an excuse for my mom. I?ll be there in about a half an hour.
She kissed him when more and then walked away. I moved out of the light, and held my breath until I knew she was gone. Soon, Zack began coming, most likely to go get prepared. As he walked past, I ran out a shoved him backward.

“What-” he started angrily, but I didn?t listen. I swung my fist at his face. His nose made a sickening crunch as my fist connected with his face. I kicked him, and he doubled over in pain. He created aimless punches at me that I blocked simply. I grabbed his shirt and brought him closer to me.
“You cheated on Alli.” I said, it was pointless to say, but I stated it out loud. I hit him when far more just before he fell to the ground, unconscious. I took his telephone out of his pocket and walked out of the alley, and to my home. Do I tell Alli?

I looked through his messages. It looked like there were three girls such as Alli. The one he was just with named Noel, and she was from one more school, after which a blonde girl named Ashlynn went to yet another school. I texted Noel and said that he couldn?t make it tonight. I looked by way of other points. There had been some seriously disturbing photos and videos on it, which I deleted. There was virtually nothing of Alli in this. No videos or pics, that I was glad of, and barely any messages. I looked at one, last night, the night she came more than, the night before the vehicle crash. He texted her saying he wanted to hang out. She said ok, then he got a text from Ashlynn, she stated her parents were away and she wanted him to come over. I gagged. He texted Alli saying he had some family thing that night. I growled in the darkness and ran home, attempting not to get too angry.
