“Natalie! Are you currently paying attention?” Mr. Brend asked me. “Of course.” I mumbled half-heartedly. “Ok, that?s your warning.” He stated and returned to talking to the entire class. I even so returned to staring at the board letting my mind wander until the bell lastly rang indicating it was time for lunch. I slowly walked toward my locker kind of waiting for everyone to clear out. I got to my locker and as I was searching for the pen I?d dropped in there earlier, when I heard a person lean against the lockers subsequent to mine. I glanced past my locker and slightly jumped back when I saw Eric standing there.

“Hey Lovely,” he smiled, “Have you regarded as my proposal but?” He asked and pushed my bangs far more out of eyes. “I really like you.” He mumbled and began lifting my chin towards his mouth. Just before I knew what was happening our lips barely connected just before Eric was pushed away and slammed into the lockers. I jumped back so I was out of the way and watched as Colton grabbed Eric?s shirt and used it to push him farther against the lockers. “Leave her the fuck alone.” He whispered into Eric?s ear. He whispered something else that I couldn?t recognize just before he let Eric go and he ran down the hallway out of sight. “Are you ok?” Colton asked with some anger in his voice. Ahead of I could respond he stated, ” What the hell was that? Why did you let him kiss you?” He was nearly yelling now. “Shh. Individuals will hear you.” I whispered. He grabbed my hand and started pulling me toward the doors as he slammed my locker shut.

When we got outside he looked at me like he wanted me to answer his questions from earlier so I began, “I?m sorry! I didn?t believe you would care, plus I wasn?t thinking. It kind of just happened.” “Oh so you kind of just happened to begin kissing the guy that raped you?” He yelled. “Why are you so created at me for this?” I yelled back finding mad due to the fact he yelled at me. “Because I don?t want him to hurt you once again! I like you and I couldn?t stand to watch him hurt you once again.” He yelled. We each paused , and he pulled me into him and kissed me.
